I really enjoyed this book. I have read the others in the series and each one is even better than the last. This is an arranged marriage book. The joining of two families that haven’t been on the best of terms for a long time. Matteo is hot as sin and a perfect match for Maria even if she hates to admit it. I think Maria is one of my favorite characters that I’ve read in a long time. She’s tough, but not afraid to show her softer side when needed. It was great seeing the other characters from the previous books as well. This book kept my interest with its wonderful romance, intriguing suspense, and many twists and turns. Check it out!!!

I arrived at my apartment at nine o’clock sharp and found Matteo waiting for me outside my door. I’d had two martinis with dinner, and on top of the champagne, even food hadn’t been enough to counteract the alcohol.
