Title: Undercover Intentions
Series: Russkaya Mafiya Spin-Off
Author: Sapphire Knight
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date:  May 29, 2017

 Beau

Not everyone born of Mafiya blood wants to be in the life.
I was determined to never go anywhere near it. Headed in the
opposite direction, I pushed away from my family and their legacy.

Until they needed me.
And then…so did she.

I got sucked in too deep, going after her and trying to save them all.
Now, there’s no turning back. I’d do anything for my cousins, for Sasha.

After all, family is everything.

“Sapphire Knight hit it out of the park with this surprise book.” ~Melony Hobgood

“I loved Beau, he was a protector and he was caring and thoughtful…” – Heather Andrews

My review –
I was lucky to get an advance copy of Undercover Intentions.  I loved the main character, Beau. He is from a mafia family but is in law enforcement. When he comes across a sex trackking operation he questions his profession.  He doesn’t just want to arrest the people involved, he wants to kill every one of them.  Beau wants to free all of the woman but especially one, Sasha. The tiny blond is all he can think of until she is free and all threats to her are gone.
Sasha has basically been a prisoner ever since she was kidnapped as a child.  She wants Beau to be her protector but Beau wants her to find her own strength.
It was an interesting book and I really enjoyed it. So much so that I will go back and read some of the other books inspired by the other characters in this book,  Beau’s family members. Great job, Sapphire!!

MAKING IT RIGHT

Most Likely Series, Book Three

Montlake Romance, Contemporary

May 09, 2017, First Edition

Paperback & Kindle

In the final book in bestselling author Catherine Bybee’s Most Likely To trilogy, River Bend’s rebel follows in her father’s footsteps to become sheriff. But it might be time to forge her own path…

Some kids inherit a family business; Jo Ward inherited a badge. Once voted Most Likely to End Up in Jail, the town wild child has become sheriff—hell-bent on uncovering the truth about her father’s mysterious death. Life is quiet in rustic River Bend, but Jo longs for something beyond her small hometown and the painful memories it holds. All that keeps her sane is the support of her best friends, Melanie and Zoe.

But when Jo signs up for an expert law enforcement training seminar, she meets Gill Clausen, whose haunting eyes and dangerously sexy vibe just may challenge her single-minded focus. Commitment-phobic Jo can’t deny her attraction to the arrogant federal agent, and when odd things start happening around River Bend and danger surrounds her, she realizes she’ll need his help to discover who’s out to remove her from River Bend…permanently.

As Jo and Gill work together, it’s clear they make a great team. But can Jo loosen her grip on the past enough to let love in and reach for the future?

My review:

This is the final book in the Most Likely series. I think it is now one of my top five favorite Bybee stories.
Jo is a self proclaimed, former wild child and daughter of a local sheriff. When her father dies, she tries to make it right by becoming his replacement but is it right for her? For years, Jo has always put the town first but yearns for more. The chance to improve her skills has her heading to a training center. The opportunity to meet a hot one night stand has her heading to a dive bar the night before classes start. It’s all she’s ever been able to hope for as her job has been her life and there’s been no time for anything else.
However, when the hottie biker from the bar, becomes McHottie in a suit at the training center, things get more complicated. Throw in more clues to her father’s death, good friends from pass books, a stalker for Jo, and you have a page turner that you can’t put down.
Another five star from Catherine!!
