Destination teaser

Blurb

Life has never been easy for Emmy London. Raised in foster homes, she learned to never get too comfortable, to never let anyone in. When her classmate, Chloe Oliver, disappeared at the tender age of five, so did she. From that moment on, life was never the same. She kept a secret and kept her distance from everyone. With the twentieth anniversary of Chloe’s disappearance looming, Mr. Oliver sought Emmy’s assistance, asking her to revisit the past in order to give him the closure he so desperately needed. As a private investigator, she was accustomed to facing unpleasant situations and sifting through others’ lives. Unfortunately, this time to do that, she has to face her own. Soon, she herself is being followed. A handsome stranger insinuates himself in her life. Everything she believed and thought she knew is called into question beginning with…can she turn her curse into a gift? Her mission is clear, her destination is to be determined.

Destination Derailed

When Emmy finally answers a series of missed calls, the first words Sean speaks are, “Peaches is missing!” Rushing back to Shiloh Cove, her new mission is a favor for a friend that lands her in a strip club, working undercover. Blaze really appreciates her new work uniform…and he’s not the only one. Like so many others on the force, Detective Morrow moonlights in a security position after hours at Leather and Lace. He’s seen many girls come and go through the years without giving it another thought, until Emmy enters his life once more, this time wearing makeup and not much else. Then, he can’t stop thinking about her. In the midst of an alpha pissing contest between two men who make her quiver, Emmy finds herself embroiled in a dark and dangerous underground. Everything she believed to be true is put to the test. It has been said rules are meant to be broken, that life is all fun and games. Yet in her case, never has so much been at stake when Emmy finds her destination derailed.

Destination teaser 2

Excerpt

Blaze appeared, and took the phone out of her hand, ending the call. Her face was searing hot. How long had he been at the door?
Taking her hand and opening her palm, he traced the line that she knew went to her heart, and placed a small piece of paper over it along with her phone. “Give me a chance, Sunshine,” he said as his lips brushed against hers. Cupping his palms around her face, he captured her mouth, claiming her. Her knees grew weak, and she slumped against the bricks behind her. He moved one hand around her neck and knotted his fingers in her hair; the other hand traveled down her side and circled her waist. Pushing his hips into hers, he pinned her into place. Allowing him in, their tongues danced and swirled in perfect rhythm. When he pulled back, she was panting, yearning for more. Turning on his heel, he walked away.
She leaned against the building a little longer until her legs were no longer wobbly. Gently, she touched her swollen lips, remembering the kiss. They’d never feel the same again to her.

Nicole Andrews Moore

Nicole Andrews Moore has been an author since 2011, but it was after the birth of her daughter, Kenna in January of 2012, that she was determined to make it a full-time career. As the fourth smallest preemie in the world, Kenna’s medical needs would prevent her from ever going to day care. A fan introduced her to JB McGee, who became her mentor and best friend. They have been working together ever since, but The Traveler Series is their first collaboration.

For fun, she spends time with those she cares about, cooks, reads, writes, and especially lives to travel. The current travel goal: visit every Margaritaville. Three down! (Eleven to go?)

Her writing can also be found on Shine, where she is a Shine Parenting Guru and an award winning Yahoo! Contributor on YourWisdom as the relationship and dating expert. In addition, she has been published by McClatchy News in their syndicated papers.

Her books can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Apple, and Smashwords in ebook, paperback, and even some audiobooks.

EXCERPT

A throaty laugh made him pause.

He knew that laugh.

The smile on his face suddenly felt more genuine. His gaze slid across the room when she laughed again. Her back was to him, but it was her…Utah. She held her cue stick and pointed at a corner pocket. “Watch ‘em and weep.”

She sunk the eight ball like it was her bitch and the guys around the table groaned. A short-haired blonde lifted her hand and made a grabby motion with her fingers. “Pay up!”

Utah laughed, laid her cue on the table, and grabbed the bottle of beer at her side. All the while Rick just watched the interplay. She wore tight jeans, a tucked in tank that hugged her waist in a mouth-watering way …over the ensemble was a jean jacket that he could easily picture draped over the handlebars of his motorcycle.

“I think we just got hustled,” one of the young college kids said as he shoved his hands in his wallet to pay his debt.

“I tried to warn you.”

Judy’s friend shoved the bills into her pocket faster than the waitress had. “Anyone else? Twenty buck minimum with a round of drinks.”

This might be fun.

Rick took a step forward and lifted his voice above the crowd. “A hundred bucks.”

Utah froze, but didn’t turn around. He wondered if she recognized his voice. Had she thought about him in the last year? With the exception of her brother’s divorce party, he hadn’t seen her…not outside of a wet dream or two.

The blonde swiveled her head like a snake to prey and her eyes did that sweeping thing that happened to him once in a while. Rick knew he wasn’t hard on the eyes, knew he filled out his shirt like a Marine should. His thick shoulders and neck screamed military or linebacker. He did play a little football in high school.

“Who the hell are you?” the blonde mumbled.

Rick chuckled.

Judy slowly turned and had to tilt her head back to look at him. “Green Eyes.”

“Hey, Utah.”

“You know this guy?” The blonde shoved next to Judy and nudged her arm.

God, she was even more adorable than he remembered. He didn’t let her eyes go, just matched her stare. A blush rose to her cheeks and a few freckles peeked through. Her snarky remark about his presence was a heartbeat away. He’d lay another hundred bucks on the table as a bet that the next words out of her mouth would shock everyone within earshot.

“Did the steroid train stop in town when I wasn’t looking?”

The blonde started to laugh.

Rick stepped even closer so barely an inch separated them. The smile never left his face. “I hear steroids shrink dicks.”

As if she couldn’t help herself, Judy glanced down and it was Rick’s turn to laugh. He brushed the edge of her body with his and removed the cue from the table. “What do ya say, Utah? I’ll even let you break. Ladies first and all that.”

Rick knew they were drawing a crowd, but the interplay between them matched the sparks that hovered over them like a damn rainbow, and he was powerless to care what anyone thought.

“A hundred bucks is steep, Judy.”

“S’okay, Meg…Rick’s a big talker. Besides, he doesn’t know what I’m capable of.”

Rick shook his head and clicked his tongue. “Now, now…don’t want to show all your cards.”

“She’s really good, dude,” the guy she’d relieved of twenty bucks said from across the table.

Rick lowered his voice. “Will you go easy on me, Babe?”

Judy regained some of her lost composure and pushed away from his personal space. “Not on your life. And I’m not your babe!”

We’ll see about that. He couldn’t stop smiling.

Cowboys are a different breed…

They work hard, play hard and love harder.

It’s all about the ride, until the right woman

makes them fall.

cowgirl-crazy-cover

BLURB:

Twyla Taylor is one frustrated cowgirl. She’s not winning at barrel racing or in love. She’s spent ten years nursing a crush on her brother’s best friend, Ryan Easter, who thinks of her as no more than his little sister. When Twyla catches Ryan with yet another no-good buckle bunny, and calls him out, he tells her to get a life, and that is exactly what she decides to do. One that does not include a buckle-bunny-chasing cowboy with a bad attitude, or an overbearing older brother.

Ryan Easter is one frustrated cowboy. He’s winning every night at bronc riding, and has a different woman in every city. Mostly so he can keep his best friend’s fiery little sister, and his desire for her, at bay. Since she grew those proud little breasts of hers, and mile-long legs, Ryan has had to fight his attraction to her. If her brother knew what he was thinking, he would kill Ryan, if her daddy didn’t first. Ryan valued the surrogate family the Taylor’s provided him with too much to ever go there with their youngest member.

His diversion techniques work like a charm, until one night he pushes her too far, and Twyla takes off. Ryan knows he has to find her quickly and apologize, or face his best friend’s wrath. He finds Twyla in Dallas and decides she’s definitely gone cowgirl crazy. He barely recognizes her, because his barrel-racing tomboy is wearing makeup that looks like it was put on with a putty knife and she’s working at a bar which borders on a cowgirl strip club. When she isn’t serving shots off of her stomach, she’s shaking her round ass for any man with a dollar to shove into the waistband of her barely-there shorts.

Twyla refuses to leave with him, and Ryan knows he better make his final arrangements, or come up with another way to convince her and fast.

HOT (18+) EXCERPT from COWGIRL CRAZY…

Ignoring her comment, and what had to be her obvious discomfort, Ryan stepped forward, leaned over her to balance his shot glass about two inches under her navel. Heather always put it at the base of her ribcage, so a little would spill into her navel, but Ryan put his lower. Her muscles contracted, as the cold glass touched her skin and heat zinged through her as she thought about him licking her up to the glass, before taking the shot.

The amber liquid sloshed in the glass, and he frowned. “No spilling, Twy, or there will be consequences.” His eyes met hers and his pupils were dilated almost as large as the blue irises. His breathing came in short spurts, and she could see his pulse pounding at the side of his throat. The look on his handsome face said he would relish delivering those consequences. “By the time I’m done, I’ll really need that drink.”

A shiver worked itself up her body from her toes, and the glass wobbled. She gasped and contracted her muscles to steady it. Agitation bristled through her. “Why don’t you just have the damned shot then, and get on with this?” That’s what she really wanted.

His hand clamped on her ankle, and he grinned. “Patience is a virtue, darlin’. Slow is not always a bad thing, and I’m about to teach you that, and a lot more.” His voice was heavy with anticipation, and his sensual threat was punctuated by his tongue making a trip around his lips.

Her eyes followed it around and heat sizzled along her nerves to singe her at the apex of her thighs. Maybe this is why all those bunnies she saw leaving his trailer were smiling. They must have had the patience he was talking about, and liked that Ryan was slow as a turtle in his lovemaking. Twyla wasn’t sold on it yet, but deciding to try to find the patience he asked her to have. She a huffed a breath then relaxed and uncurled her fists.

What the hell did she know about all this, anyway? She was green as grass at this, he knew what he was doing. Had done it many times. Too many. “Get on with it, then,” she grumbled, settling her focus on keeping that shot glass steady on her lower abdomen.

Ryan’s dark head appeared in her line of vision, and Twyla gasped. His eyes met hers over the plane of her tummy, and were filled with mischief and purpose. His hot breath tickled her thighs when he warned, “Keep it still, Twyla. No spilling.”

He slid his hands, behind her calves, and under her thighs to hold her hands at her sides, then turned his face to plant a wet kiss on her inner thigh. His mouth latched there and he sucked, while his tongue swirled on her skin. Fire zipped up to her core, her muscles contracted, and Twyla whimpered. The glass wobbled and she knew right then she was in big trouble.
